Teaching is a demanding job that requires a strong knowledge of the subject being taught. Teachers spend hours after school and on the weekends preparing lessons and grading papers.
However, teaching is also a really fun and incredibly rewarding career. Especially as a science teacher, there are many opportunities to work on fun projects. Teachers also get to see their students develop into responsible young adults and transition from high school to college or a job.
