Signing up for a web host

1. Open your web browswer and go to neocities.org
2. Sign up for an account by filling in the information on the right side of the screen.
   You can leave the "tags" field empty. You may want to write down your site name and a password reminder for yourself.
3. Try visiting your site! Your website address is [your user name].neocities.org.
4. On the paper at the front of the room, write your name and Neocities user name.

Making (editing) your first webpage

1. Log in (if you haven't already).
2. Click the pink "Edit Site" button at the upper right corner.
   When someone visits your website, the site will automatically load a file named index.html. Let's edit that file!
3. Near the bottom of the page, place the mouse over the "index.html" file, then click "Edit." The source code will open.
4. Edit the existing source code, or delete everything and start from scratch.
   
   As you edit, check to see how your site looks so far.
